The holidays are upon us, and soon you’ll be going home for long conversations with your family – about your school, your future, and what you want for Christmas. Why not ask for Italy for Christmas?

For most of you, attending SBI is not much of a price difference than a regular semester at your home university. But, you’ll need a plane ticket, and travel money when you’re there … so, instead of a Walmart gift card, a new shirt, or a Walmart gift card, why not ask your family to help you have the experience of a lifetime? The spring 2019 semester at SBI starts on February 1, 2019. There is still plenty of time to apply, select classes, make travel arrangements, and even work to make some extra money in January! The Colosseum could hold, it is estimated, between 50,000 and 80,000 spectators, having an average audience of some 65,000.  Construction began under the emperor Vespasian in AD 72 and was completed in AD 80 under his successor and heir Titus. It is the largest amphitheatre ever built.

Grace Christian School Partnership Planning

                                                  

Saints Bible Institute was pleased to host Grace Christian School's Principal (from Prince Edward Island) Jason Biech and his Wife Martina for a vision planning visit to our School campus in San Lorenzo Italy.  We are excited to see how God may be leading this new relationship. During the visit they will be planning how GCS High School Students may come to study the amazing culture, art and history that this beautiful country has to offer through a Biblical perspective.  Please pray for Mr Biech, Samuel and Justin as they pray through these possibilities.    

That Time of Year

Well it's that time of year.  The time when as a student you are thinking about the upcoming long awaited Spring Break.  You have worked hard all winter and you are ready for a time away from the pressures of school assignments and tests.  For teachers its that brief moment where they might be able to breathe, just ever so slightly.  For some however, depending on your grade level, your mind is racing with thoughts of university decisions, vocational choices and in general what am I going to do when I graduate.  

Our vision as Saints Bible Institute is for investing in college students through discipleship, education, and instilling a heart for missions. Saints Bible Institute offers students an opportunity to live in Italy, experience European missions first hand, and earn up to 18 hours of college credit. The Coursework offered builds a broader perspective of the cultural and spiritual past, present, and future of Italy.

Our prayer as a missionary family serving with Saints Bible Institute, is that God will use us to share with students and parents the about the unique opportunity available for individuals to spend a semester abroad in Italy totally immersing themselves into God's Word and strengthening their walk with Jesus.  Please pray for our family as we continue spending time building relationships with Youth Groups, Universities, High Schools, Camps and Churches.  As well please pray for our family as we continue the process of raising support to cover our ministry expenses.  We know that this could not be possible without the faithful partners in Ministry.

BECAUSE OF YOU

As we have continued this journey of Fully Relying on God`s Provisions, we have also realized the importance of allowing God to use individuals as partners in this ministry that he has called us to.  It is to that end that we write to you, Thanking You, first and foremost for your prayer partnership but as well and equally needed your financial partnerships.  One of the things we first noticed as we became involved with the ministry of Saints Equipped to Evangelize was the amount of Homeschool families that were directly related to or impacted through the ministry components of Saint Equipped to Evangelize and Saints Bible Institute. 

Study Abroad Italy

Our prayer became that God would begin opening doors for us to share and connect with this community in a new way, which led us to becoming involved in their Annual Convention Activities.  We were excited to be able to share the ministry of Saints Equipped to Evangelize within the setting of several Homeschool Conventions.  It was exciting to see how God continued to open doors for us to share not only with the parents and teens about the opportunities for missions trips and Saints Bible Institute but also the doors that were opened to minister within the children’s programming.  It is our prayer and passion that young people and in turn families are strengthened by seeking God’s direction and calling in their life.  We realize that it is different for everyone and we want to be there to be an encouragement as this process takes place. None of this would be possible if it were not for your prayers and support.  So it is to you we say............

Anxious Mothers and Fathers were able to talk with us about their child or teens future life plans.


Our Family was strengthened through teamwork, perseverance and seeing God`s Provisions

We were able to encourage young people who are praying about their next steps after Graduation

Our Family was able to begin building relationships with the home school community which we pray will lead to young people exploring the idea of missional training and or work

We survived, 2 Blizzards, 3 Bridge Closures and one Breakdown




Our family was able to take some time to be encouraged by the Willis Clan Family of Singers
